Fashion & Props planning

The genre of our song is pop/dance. Pop/dance music videos tend to be youthful and energetic. The fashion that mona and I have selects is reflective of this. We chose pieces that we would wear and things that we take inspiration in. we have chosen some eye popping colours to emphasise the fun and free feeling of the song. We have also done this as we felt that bright colours would look amazing on camera. The pieces that we have chosen are clothes that would fill people with confidence and sass. This is in keeping with the feeling that the song connotes. The make up will also convey the same message. We took our key inspiration from stylish female celebrities who have high levels of influence in our demographic (15- 20's) I think that it is important to be able to identify the genre and the style of the song from fashion alone as it is something that people remember.

  Props and equipment:   

               

This section of the task represents the props and equipment we will need. I struggled with this section of the task as to try and plan ahead what equipment we would need was quite difficult. We would also benefit from pieces of equipment not available to us and this was then difficult to be able to find alternatives. 

Mona and I want the video to look professional and not tacky so we tried to use minimal props to aid this. If you analyse other dance videos there are minimal props and this is something that we plan to maintain. We might change a few of these props or add a few more.
