Digipak Poster Analysis

what I have learnt:

I have learnt that Digipaks provide an effective and traditional way to advertise and promote an album while continuing to be honest and true to an artist or genre. I have also gained a lot of knowledge and inspiration of what I would like to include and not include in my own digipak. I have also learnt the general conventions of a digipak and how sometimes not conforming to these can be as effective as conforming to them!. Learning the conventions of digipaks will aid me in creating my brand as I now know the different expectations for each genre. Another thing that I have learnt that I was not aware of before this task is that digipaks are a collector's item and can often be exclusive. This provides a great way to advertise as it appeals straight to the fan base which then creates a buzz or hype for the artist resulting in more fans and buyers.
